Your right. Silence is the typical response to an article which places the Israeli government in a bad light with regards to the treatment of its Arab citizens.
"It is the moral and religous duty of the state and the nation to help this child."
Would the lack of service have something to do with race and religion? After all Jewish settlements in the West Bank get hooked up to water and electricity all the time. Consider the results of a poll reported by Ha`aretz which found that 70% of the youth in Israel don`t think Bedouin deserve same rights as Jews. That`s a heck of a thing to teach your children. |
