More people have just either been killed or made homeless in Georgia in the last few days than Palestinians have in the last few decades. I don`t know whether the Russians or the Georgians are more to blame. It looks like the Russians from where I stand, but I`m not sure what precipitated their attacks.
Nevertheless, genocide is not a term that can be appropriately applied to what the Palestinians have had to endure at any point in their conflict with Israel.
To be sure, they have had a hard time and have been on the short end of the stick, but it mocks their actual struggles to apply a clearly inaccurate term like genocide to their predicament. It makes it hard, if not impossible, to take you seriously (and therefore care about those you claim to champion) when you are so clearly off base.
Do the Palestinians a favor and apply truthfulness to your posts. It makes you a far more effective advocate. |
