When one has money in a USA bank taxes are being paid on that money. What has to happen is: The receiving party, Olmert in this case, has to pay Taxes on all monies over $10,000 he receives in a calendar year from any one individual. The Us banks report as a mater of law any transaction over $8000 to the IRS.
Any Us citizen that takes out of the US or brings into the US large sums of money has to report it at the duty offices at the port of entry or exit. The US could care less if Talansky tried to buy favors or business influence in Israel for his business. |
