| JP: "Here`s an example I am sure you can relate to, as you`ve probably heard something similar before: If you hear a sentence that begins with "Now, I am not saying you mom is promiscuous, but....", you that the guy means your mom IS promiscuous." That does not mean he is threatening to screw her, JP. He is making an observation; he is not making a threat. That is the essential difference. |
