| Russia doesn`t like the idea of NATO encroaching on her "near abroad" so she`s going to crush Georgia as an example to the West to stay out of her backyard. And what can the West do about it? Absolutely nothing except to airlift some humanitarian aid, send Condi Rice to Tbilisi, cancel a joint naval exercise, and issue some diplomatic protests as if Russia really cared what the West thinks about it. |
