It is obvious that Israel is not and has not been concerned about keeping up its part of any "roadmap" to peace. Many Palestinians fail the test too, but that is not the point here.
Illegal is illegal. Israel is rewarding those who have acted criminally in establishing what even the Israel government condemns as "illegal" settlements. And a Freeze is a Freeze, as #1 noted, the freeze was to include all settlement building. How can anyone conclude that the Israeli government is serious about peace on anything other than its own land-grabbing terms? I know that many Israeli` are equally appalled and feel as hopeless and helpless about their government as so many American`s have during the Bush administration. |
