| Is Russia even the aggressor? Russia role seems to me to be more similar to America`s in the first Gulf War in 1991 to "free" Kuwait--- not the US`s recent 2003 attack on Iraq. Compare Russia`s attacks inside Georgia to the Coalition`s attacks inside Iraq during the war to free Kuwait. Disproportionate? Perhaps the most recent violence in Ossetia-Georgia would have been prevented if the international community had recognized and affirmed South Ossetia`s independence in 1992. |
