Russia has committed more atrocities in (Muslim) Chechniya than it has so far in (Christian) Georgia.
In Chechniya`s case, the Western world remained silent and its cooperation with Russia was not affected at all.
The Western world supported the US in blockading, invading and occupying Iraq - a sovereign nation thousands of miles away from the US.
In Georgia`s case, the Western world is screaming bloody murder and demanding an immediate ceasefire!
The irony of it all is that Georgia, the current victim of Russian aggression, has the third largest number of troops among the occupation forces in Iraq!
If Georgia feels that it can help the US in its agression against, and occupation of, Iraq, then it shouldn`t expect the non-Western world to come to its aid. Now you`ll know how being UNJUSTLY occupied really feels like!
Today you`re the agressor, tomorrow the victim! |
