| I don`t think Natallie is right this time. Why did Hamas win the election? They give vital social support to Palestinians. They are known as less corrupt than the PA. They stand up to Israel rather than kow tow. The efforts of the Israelis and the PA to close their schools and orphanages in the West Bank will further enhance the prestige of Hamas. Hamas is far too ingrained in Palestinian society to disappear as Israelis and the Americans hope. Eventually you will have to negotiate with them. |
