Who knew? Apparently there is someone in Israel that is slightly in touch with reality.
An invasion of Gaza won`t stop the rockets, a ceasefire does (and accepting the Arab Peace Initiative would do it for good).
The smuggling issue is moot as Hamas has plenty of Grads and other missiles to lob in the absence of a ceasefire.
And then Barak admits the obvious about Lebanon. Israel`s "unjustified" War on Lebanon did nothing but strengthen Hezbollah and Nasrallah.
Of course he did misrepresent Hamas and get a dig in at Livni but that`s just politics as usual. |
