| The interests of Iran and Hizbollah will be better served by waiting for the inevitable Israeli attack. In the eyes of the world, Israel is in transition from being considered a "good guy" to being considered a "bad guy". A first strike by Israel will give Israel a nice boost into "bad guy" status. The international economic crisis which would come of such an attack would be blamed on Israel. It could be possible for Iran to "win" this war without firing a shot. In fact, if Iran declined to respond to an Israeli attack, their stock would go up a great deal in the international arena. |
