| The single most prosperous country in Asia is Singapore, which was almost entirely made up of the chinese "diaspora", and much of the prosperity of Malayasia (still the only moslem country to acheive prosperity without oil) was due to the overseas chinese minority in Malaysia, which functioned much as jewish minorities in western countries. Even Indonesia was well on its way to post-colonialist prosperity until the huge pogrom of 1963 in which literally millions of overseas chinese were massacred. Indonesia would be a much richer nation today were it not for the racist massacre of the chinese minority. So Communist China really doesn`t have to look to the jews for this type of analysis, it can look much closer to home to the overseas chinese communities that have brought wealth to themselves and their host countries, at least where racial hatred has not prevented this from happening. |
