| When the NKVD was represented by Jewish folks during the second world war, what would you expect? Jews had been prohibited from entering politics prior to the war, and when the soviets, and the jewish apparatchik took power early in the 40`s, they assumed power, property, and "chutzpah". The soviets fled, leaving them "in the ditch" of panieriai (NOT "ponery"). Surprise at the result! That said, I wish there was a good bagel in this damn boring town! |
