| First of all, the SM-3 missile is not produced by Lockheed Martin, it is produced by Raytheon. Secondly, the SM-3 is a shipboard weapons, used in conjunction with the AEGIS combat system (which is produced by Lockheed Martin), and therefore is not in competition with the Arrow, which is a land based system. On the other hand, the Patriot missile system, which is the US`s primary land based anti-air missile, could potentially be competing with Arrow. |
