A week ago Barak said that he was surprised by how much Hamas has stuck to the ceasefire agreement. That extend can be best measured by the residents of the south. For the first time in a long time, 5000 youth went to summer camps there.
Now Barak wants to go back to the same failed formula Israel has been using since June 06: the military option.
Sigh, but it is all campaigning. He wants to look tough, sound tough, and smell tough to regain his premiership.
Sad to see that 2 of the top 3 candidates are previous PM`s who have failed miserably and were kicked out by the electorate! But that is Israeli politics: regurgitating failed politicians! Peace be on us! |
