Shame on the husband who preferred his religious observance above the peace of his family. This is what I would call `egotripping`. There`s nothing spiritual or rewarding about becoming more observant when one destroys the peace of his family! His religious observance obviously made life hell for his wife and the divorce was the result. Hey man, this is unacceptable behaviour, and an insultant to humane judaism, nekudah! You changed your way of life, not your wife, so bare the consequences!
