| I believe the Government of Israel should put a kind of Special Police Force that besides the security looks for the good image inside this Holy Site like is done in other global hallmarks. I am always amazed by the huge amount of Tzedakka collectors that gather around this Holy Site and I perfectly understand the importance of distributiong Tzedakka but the last time that I was there I decided to change a good amount of money for 5 shekel coins in order to distribute it among several people but my surprise was that some of the people that ask for money feel insulted for receiving 5 shekels and more than that they throw the money away!!! I was with my children at the moment, and I mention this because I always try to encourage giving Tzedaka this is why I felt very sad about the incident. We`re supposed to be a light among the nations and what happens in the Kotel I consider it as a pure Chilul Hashem, I heard several incidents that are very similar of my experience. |
