You`re so right about the high inflation and the high unemployment that the Iranian people are holding close to their hearts these days.
Please don`t fool yourself into thinking that the Iranian people hold anyone responsible for these economic hardships other than those who are causing those hardships.
Rather than destabilizing the regime of Mahmoud, the sanctions are empowering him in his fight against those who are attacking Iranian sovereignty.
The Iranian people are united in their right to peaceful nuclear energy, including the right to enrich uranium on Iranian soil. Economic sanctions against a people for its popular expression of its sovereign rights will inevitably lead to a strengthening of the national will.
It will not lead to scapegoating of the President for standing his ground. |
