| While traveling thru the interior of China, a Jewish couple from New York heard a community of Chinese Jews lived somewhere in the area. Being surprised and curious, they researched and eventually located the community and it`s synagogue. Saturday morning they entered the building and saw a modest group of Chinese praying. At the end of the service, they waited as the members of the congregation filed out. When the rabbi walked by, they politely said, "Rabbi, we`re Jewish!" The rabbi gave them a skeptical look and said "Jewish? You don`t look Jewish." |
