| The Shalit case has become a chronic and divisive issue for Israel. From Hamas point of view, this is a good thing. Hamas could let this go on a long time, as it already has, and Hamas will not grow tired of it. In order to remove this problem, Hamas demands a high price, and why not? Why should they let Israel off cheap just because Israel demands it. This is especially true since Israel needs this deal and Hamas does not. |
