| Israel has been engaged in an off and on blockade of Gaza for years. This has included food, medicine, power, fuel, and whatever else you care to name. What is the point of all this blocakde activity if not to cause suffering among the Gazans? Utilizing a "logic" unique to Israelis, we see Israel impose harsh sanctions against Gaza and, at the same time, claim that the sanctions are like nothing. If they are like nothing, why not save the time and effort and stop with the sanctions altogether? |
