| The shul in Weshampton is just barely Orthodox. Their mehitzah is see through, around a meter tall, and goes down the middle of the sanctuary until the aron hakoshed - so women and men are totally equal. Ad far as if God is happy with this - it`s far more important for the Rabbi to make non-Jews happy than to make God happy. He spends a lot more time connecting with priests, ministers, and muslim clerics than he does connecting with other rabbis or God. |
