I believe that hamas problem will be soon resolved after the strike on iran. This will interrupt the flow of arms and money to hamas. Also, will most likely pressure Syria into peace agreement with Israel. Such actions will also isolate and weaken hizbulla (financially as well as militarily) and will eventually pave the way for peace treaty with Lebanon.
This is the best scenario for the region. Any other way, and the confrontation will eventually turn entire region into a desert given the awesome power of nuclear weapons in conjunction with arab mentality |
