According to Islamic law, each wife should be treated exactly equally, both materially and in the treatment by her husband. One house for each wife, equal support for her and her children etc.
Of course that doesn`t always happen - but then there are many injusticies for women in Jewish law, by they way. I guess that goes all the way back to Abraham, who had his "bit on the side." And we all know about the women in Western Countries who are abandoned for the Mistress and whereby the court is chasing the husband for alimony and child support for years! |
