Of course it isn`t parental kidnapping! The whole family came willingly from the US to live here. So the mother wanted to go back - is there any evidence that the children are even unhappy here? The daughter said she didn`t mind where they lived but wanted them to live together as a family. There was a highly publicised case in the UK recently when a 14yr old girl went to live with her father in Pakistan. Her mother in the UK had a live-in boyfriend and drank - so she preferred to live with her family in Pakistan. The eventual judgement was that she should remain in Pakistan if that was where she wanted to be. The father offered to pay for the mother to go to Pakistan to see the child whenever she wanted - or to send the girl to visit her mother in the UK
America isn`t the be all and end all. Some people actually prefer to live elsewhere!
