I wonder how readers would have reacted if this family consisted of an Israeli who wanted to keep his kids in Israel, and an American wife who wanted them there? And if the Israeli father sent the children to an Orthodox school and the children were made to wear woollen stockings in summer, long sleeves and a head covering. What`s the difference?

I raised my children in the West Bank very happily. They all went to UK universities and frequently travel between both countries. My grandchildren spend happy holidays learning Arabic and enjoying the hospitality of the Paleaestinian culture. |
