As FM she was a total failure, mute during the Lebanon war, loosing the war in the media. Stupid thereafter negotiating for UNIFIL and the disastrous leaving of the Philadelphi Road by the IDF, giving in to demands by Rice. For every failure of Olmert, she was a companion, albeit a disloyal one. The Israeli left wants her to become PM because of her defeatist world view, which says that Israel will not be a legitimate state until giving away the Temple Mount and Judea and Samaria to the Fatah terrorists and finally to Hamas. Barak wants her as PM in order to topple her. But the truth is that Olmert and Livni are for certain twins of failure. Both of them are unable to deal with the only real threat for Israel: the mullahs in Tehran and their nuclear dreams. |
