I am sure many of us, for many different reasons, are glad to see him go. The question though is, now what? Who can move the country forward? Who can seal a deal with the Syrians that effectively ends the Arab-Israeli conflict? Who can develop an alliance with friendly Sunni regimes (yes, they exist if the paranoids among you would be willing to open your eyes and not see Antisemitism around every corner) in order to stand up to the Iranians, not with bravado and threats of attack, but with a plan that can/will contain their nuclear aspirations? Who can address the out-of-control settler movement once and for all, and resolve the conflict with the Palestinians (this won`t be a "peace treaty," it will be the creation of a sovereign Palestinian State). Who can address the issues of Jewish and Arab poverty and inequity throughout the country, the increasing split between the haves/have-nots, the over-urbanization of the centre at the expense of the north and south? Tell me, WHO?????
