Maybe it`s time to re-assess the prescription for non-voluntary national service? Is it possible that some significant proportion of these young men do not think it a G-dly thing to enrol as military in the present circumstances, but lack the full conviction to declare themselves refuseniks? Perhaps they have read Khirbet Khizeh, found it in their old bookshelves? Remember?
