With more Torah studies mushrooming around the country, it marks the degradation and failure of Israel to rein in national service as a priority.
What must be emphasized here is that though hostilities may have decreased yet the need of national service must be addressed as it is of importance to inculcate nationalism to the people.
To arrest the declining number of national service, there must be a limit to the number of people who opt for religious studies by criterias eg. religious background, studies leading to future religious service, academic ambitions etc. not analysed would mean many TORAH FAKES who will escape reality of service for the country. |
