I am a Christian Palestinian, and I can`t help but be annoyed when reading this article. I am happy that he converted to Christianity. However, to outright blame Hamas for the conflict and say that "Israel is a wonderful country" is outraguos. We, the Palestinian Christians, are suffering under Israel`s apartheid policies. Yes, recently, there has been more intolerance toward Christians from the general muslim population, but when it comes to fighting an apartheid state that denies people their basic human rights, muslim and Christian Palestinians stand together. Israel stole my land and took away my basic human rights, and I will continue to fight along with my muslim brethen for justice. |
