The economic successes? Due to the economic reforms (under Netanyahu) and Israeli initiative. Increased tourism? Because the IDF has kept things relatively secure. But who should we blame for failing schools, struggling universities and the brain drain? Who should we blame for sweetheart deals with religious parties? All this is taking place under Olmert`s watch. So too are an increasingly assertive and well armed Hamas and Hizbullah. There is a cost to pay for leadership by appeasement.
