| "The Israelis never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity...." "The Palestinian Authority has no-one to talk to...." "There is no partner for peace amongst the Israelis...." Sad but true: The Pals look across the table and they are starring at pygmies who are playing political games at the expense of peace. Really, if the USA wanted peace in the Middle East then it would do best to turn its back on the Israelis and insist on talking only to the Palestinians. That`d put the peace train back on the tracks, because at least the Pals have an incentive to end this endless conflict. But not Israel, apparently. And why not? Weeeeeelllll, according to Mofaz that is because Israel.... well.... because Israel is always having elections. Apparently that`s a good enough reason to keep the Palestinians waiting for another 40-odd years. Apparently. |
