recognizing Israel`s right to exist?
For some reason I don`t think I have! More than sixty years after Israel was established and more than sixty one years since the UN called for its establishment Syria is still not ready to recognize its right to be!
Three full scale wars initiated by Syria, as part of a larger Arab states coalition, and an on-going campaign of terror against Israeli civilian population designed to bleed the country to death, the Syrian regime has not appologized and has not found it appropriate to simply say, we were wrong - as King Hussein of Jordan did - and we now recognize Israel`s right to exist.
So why should any Israeli trust them? |
