For too long the haredim have evolved from isolated clans of religious zealots, to activists undermining Israel`s well-being.
The haredim largely don`t work, serve in the military, or othweside contribute to society.
These haredim have been instrumental in fragmenting Israeli society, abusing women, non-haredi Jews, and targeting Arabs in the West bank and Israel proper. At least some of the radicalization of Moslem society in Israel and the `territories` can be laid at the feet of these pompous, self-serving jerks. The fact the a very low percentage of Israeli Jews actively practive their faith is a result of the haredim marginalizing any beliefs but their own.
The haredim are a blemish on Judaism. |
