Homosexual relationships are indeed a taboo in Arab/Muslim countries - just as they were until recently a taboo in many Western locales.
But to say that a relationship between "a Muslim man and a Jewish woman" is a taboo shows a lack of knowledge on the part of the writer! Such relationships have existed and continue to exist throughout the Arab/Muslim world!
Judaism, like Christianity, is a religion and Muslims consider their followers as people of the book. My extended family has a few Muslim/Christian & Muslim/Jewish families. It`s not a taboo at all - until you start injecting politics into it! |
