| In the past, the American administrations have turned their attention to an Israeli/Palestinian peace in the final days before they leave office. This was perfectly fine with Israel because this left only a short time to drag feet and humor the Americans before a change of leadership. Oblama, on the other hand, will be proactive in the peace process from day one. It won`t really be possible to humor Obama for four years or more with no action. Recently, all of Israels western allies have directly criticized Israel expansion as an impediment to peace. The gloves are coming off and Israel will have to get with the program or face the consequences. I suspect that 300,000 Jews will be making aliyah to Israel in the near future and leaving the west bank for the Palestinians. |
