| There were a number of complex factors which were responsible for Hitlers rise to power, and more than a little luck. Some of these factors were not unlike those existing in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. Following WW1, Germany was severely oppressed by the victors, particularly France. Heaps and heaps of repairations were piled upon Germany in conjunction with a rise in world facism and wide spread international economic collapse. It is not likely that Israel would exist today if it were not for the Nazi oppression and extermination efforts against the Jews. Toying with changes to history is a mugs game. The law of unintended circumstances will always rule the day. |
