Sounds more like an echo chamber of lefty near unknowns. Israel`s problem is not Mr Obama, it is his amply demonstrated ability to shift in the populist wind like a sailboat, and the frankly unfriendly senior advisors that will form his impressions & administration, from Samamtha Powers, to Susan Rice, to Brezinskis, etc, these people hold the same views as Yossi Beilin, anybody check lately how popular those views are in Israel?
We cannot afford retreats here in Israel like the Obama camp loves so much in the face of conflict, for us retreat means swimming in the sea. So it is no wonder Obama`s popularity is limited mostly to the publisher of Haaretz, etc here. |
