I think that it was reprehensible that Jews were forced to leave Arab countries. You do know that expulsion of the Jews from Arab lands came after the expulsion of the Palestinians, don`t you?
But regardless of the motive, I believe that every Jew should not only be able to visit Arab countries but be allowed to return to their old homes. And, of course, I believe that the same thing should hold for the Palestinians who were forced to leave their homes in 1948 and again in 1967.
Don`t you think that the same standard should hold for both peoples or, for you, would it only be Jews who could return and redeem their properties? How about the Palestinians also being allowed to return and redeem their properties? I think it would be great for both groups to go back to their homes if they so choose to do so. It would undoubtedly make for a more peaceful world. |
