| peace can be brought to an area in many ways - legally and illegally. angola is more peaceful now than it was, no question about that. however, one shouldn`t be so naive as to how that peace was achieved. the case against gaydamak and falcone was based on not paying taxes to france for financing an arms deal. if france has now changed the terms of the accusation, after gaydamak and falcone had french state-owned oil company total kicked out of oil-rich angola, then i`m sure it`s no coincidence, especially since the administration in france has also changed. it`s not the hand you `see` that is playing the game... |
