If you had read the article properly you would have seen that this Livni guy was busy planting bombs to kill Palestinian mayors in the early 80s - that`s several years before the emergence of Hamas. You may not know anything about the mayors involved but don`t assume that the rest of us are as ignorant. Livni planted bombs with the intention of killing civilians. Had he been a Palestinian you would have been the first to call him a terrorist and with good reason. The fact that he is Jewish causes you to seek a feeble argument to avoid applying such a label.
Regarding your 2nd point - that Haaretz calls Palestinians who target civilians `militants` - you might like to look back at the coverage of the construction worker who went berserk in Jerusalem the other week. |
