I can never understand those Israelis (and they are unfortunately a majority) who frequently jump on poeple like Carter. In my humble opinion, what Carter has been proposing recently is to the wellfare of Israel in the long run. On the other hand, others who agree with whatever Israel says or does (either out of interest or as a result of intimidation) are simply doing harm to their cause.
The first step in changing a person`s wrong attitude is for him to realize his wrong-doing, and that`s exactly what Carter (and others like him) are doing. |
