Israel is playing in this game as though all the cards are in Hamas`s hand, while in fact Israel holds most of the strong cards (crossings, electricity, water, medical care and more).
Israel should make good use of these cards and thereby, put the Palestinians under tremendous pressure to force them to come up quickly with concessions regarding the release of Shalit.
Israel should not capitulate to Hamas`s blackmail by releasing the most vicious murderers, since history clearly shows that most of these terrorist will return to perpetrate terror attacks against Israelis. |
