Gonna. Happen. Those Hamas parliamentarians are too useful to release, because their release gives Hamas the numbers on the floor of the PA legislature to vote down the PA govt appointed by Abbas. That govt of technocracts must face a vote of confidence in the PA legislature within 30 days of being appointed, and they have been able to avoid being replaced by a Hamas-led govt only because a quorum can not be reached. Let those Hamas boys out and Faayad`s govt is going down, down, down, and Abbas can not stop it. Olmert can not allow that to happen, because it means all of his efforts of the last two years are for nothing. |
