The only rogue nations in the Middle East that have developed nuclear weapons in a clandestine program it hid from the world and who refuse to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) are India, Israel and Pakistan.
In stark contrast, Iran signed the NPT and has declared it does not want or believe in nuclear weapons and should be granted protection from the 3 rogue regimes under the NPT, not attacked for singing it. Iran is simply exercising its rights under the NPT to develop nuclear power and to develop the scientific and technological know how to be self sufficient as a nation, a right that is theirs as a sovereign state.
The IAEA should concentrate on getting the 3 rogue regimes to sign the NPT and allow inspections of their own secret nuclear programs as Iran has instead of trying to deny Iran the scientific and technological skills the rest already enjoy. |
