| Haaretz mistranslated him. He said Iran is a friend of people of America and even Israel. He mentioned the "people" not the government of the US or Israel. It is the official policy of Iran not to be friend with the state of Israel unless Israel retreats to 1967 borders and allows the return of millions of palestinian refugees to their motherland and recognizzes the Palestinian statehood in those teritories. A huge majority of Iranians are very anti-zionist and I don`t see there would come a time that Iran becomes friends with the zionists. That you my jewish friends could surely count on. |
