| I`m sorry to say this, though your plan does sound excellent in theory, that`s not how things are resolved in the Middle East. Though money is a powerful commodity anywhere in the world, it is not as great an incentive in the Middle East. Being threatened with financial punishment is not the worst thing that could happen to you as an Arab. Probably, the worst thing is for your family name to be shamed due to your own actions. And the shaming needs to be done by your own community, not by "foreigners". To most western minds, this concept is incomprehensible and cannot be modeled into a functioning system of governance. Nevertheless, constructive ideas like yours are to be applauded and used to mould something new for the future. |
