After all his years of work on Kafka?s literary estate, it?s shocking that Brod did not make proper provision for the manuscripts and that they have been, and now might still be, used just to satisfy personal greed. It is a pity that ?the fact that it is located in a private apartment does not enable the state archivist to remove the material by force?.
