| I cannnot describe my sense of utter disgust and profound sadness about this whole affair. The sheer lack of humanity displayed by the supporters of Kuntar in contrast to the tragic dignity of the Israeli people does not bode well at all for any rapprochement in the Israel-Palestinian conflict. This affair truly has laid bare the stark distinction between civilised behaviour on the part of the Israelis and unbridled feral barbarism of Hizbollah and its fellow travellers. |
